Triple-A: Rochester 5, IronPigs 2
Not much to talk about in this game, Dom Brown was 2-3 with a double, but his average for the year is still just .264. Tuffy Gosewisch was 3-4 with a homerun, and Jeremy Horst had a solid inning in relief of Dave Bush.

Double-A: Reading 4, Akron 3
This whole team excites me. Tyson Gillies was 1-4 with his fifth RBI of the season, Cesar Hernandez went 0-5, Darin Ruf was 2-5 with a double and a run scored, and Troy Hanzawa was 2-4 with a pair of RBIs. Julio Rodriguez had a rough start, going only three innings and allowing two runs on four hits and three walks. He was pulled because through these three innings, J-Rod threw 80 pitches.

Single-A: Hagerstown 15, Lakewood 2
Claws got smoked tonight (someone had to make the first pun). Brian Pointer hit a solo shot, his fourth, and backup catcher John Hill drove in the team’s other run. Aaron Altherr was 2-4 (.316 on the season) but did not steal a base. Kelly Dugan was 1-3 with a double. Lino Martinez was saddled with his first loss after a 3.1 inning, 12 run on 14 hit performance. Three solo homeruns for Hagerstown didn’t help, but Martinez did give up 14 total hits.
